Project Overview

This project has meaning beyond the design and construction methods. The couple whom this is being designed for has a grand idea for this home, and the gardens that surround it, to live on well beyond their own life. The space will serve as a home part of the year and a retreat center for meditation and healing the other parts of the year. For inspiration we traveled with the couple around India to capture the essence of Hinduism and the feeling and design of the places they love. The structure will be a simple skin with a complex interior, highlighting the details of India and submerging it’s guests into the emotions we felt while traveling.
